A vintage Royal Doulton veined flambé vase, made in England. The vase is decorated with Doulton's signature high-fired flambé glaze produced with metallic oxides resulting in sophisticated patterns unique to each piece. This vase is a glossy, dark red accented with black and fiery yellow. Printed crown and lion Royal Doulton factory marks on base surmount "Flambe / Veined / 1605". Very good condition with small chips on inside of foot, invisible unless the piece is turned over. Shape number 1605 measuring 4.5 in. H.
